Westminster Pharmaceuticals’ CEO Louis Sanchez Nominated for EY Entrepreneur of the Year 2022
Tampa, FL — Westminster Pharmaceuticals’ CEO Louis Sanchez was recently nominated for the EY Entrepreneur of the Year 2022 Awards, a prestigious global business awards program that celebrates ambitious entrepreneurs building a more sustainable, equitable, and prosperous world.
The EY Entrepreneur of the Year program, founded and produced by Ernst & Young Global Limited and presented by PNC, welcomes nominations from around the world and bestows this esteemed recognition upon around 400 visionary business leaders of high-growth companies annually.
Individuals eligible for nomination include founders or current executives responsible for the day-to-day operations of a business for at least two years. Sanchez was personally nominated by PNC executive Chuck Cantanese based on his individual merits and achievements as leader of Westminster Pharmaceuticals.
If advanced to the finalist round, Sanchez will complete an interview with EY leaders and select sponsors as well as with an independent panel of regional judges. The regional panel is made up of entrepreneurs and prominent C-suite business leaders, many of whom are past EY Entrepreneur of the Year award winners themselves.
From there, regional award winners are celebrated at the EY Strategic Growth Forum later this year, where national winners will be announced. All regional and national winners then join the Entrepreneur of the Year Hall of Fame. As lifetime members of the multi-disciplinary community of entrepreneurs, winners are granted ongoing access to program alumni across more than 60 countries.
Since its inception in 1986, the EY Entrepreneur of the Year Awards has amassed a network of more than 10,000 world-changing entrepreneurs in total. Previous winners include founders of household brands such as Chobani Inc.’s Hamdi Ulukaya and Cirque du Soleil’s Guy Laliberté.
